Et oui, on peut personnaliser des produits, mais aussi des instants et des voyages !! Prenons l'exemple de l'Indonésie, le pays aux milliers d'îles, destination à la mode... Il existe plusieurs moyens de découvrir le pays par le biais d'agences traditionnelles ou de tours-opérateurs ; dans ces cas-ci on n'a pas besoin de passer du temps à chercher de l'information, tout sera organisé, par contre, vous serez avec un groupe d'inconnus, et vous devrez suivre le programme défini à la lettre ; cela laisse peu de place à l'improvisation ou la personnalisation.

Il existe aussi des agences spécialisées dans le voyage sur-mesure ou personnalisé, comme Evaneos, MarcoVasco, Voyageurs du Monde, etc... . Ici, pareil, tout sera organisé à l'avance, mais selon vos envies, c'est idéal si vous voulez voyager entre vous ! A condition que cela passe côté budget ! 

Enfin, vous avez la possibilité de voyager en mode routard : là, vous devez passer du temps à trouver de l'information, à définir le contenu de votre voyage, c'est passionnant mais ça prend beaucoup de temps. A l'arrivée, un voyage personnalisé, unique, conçu par et pour vous ! Et puis, cela convient aussi aux petits budgets :) ! 

Voici une idée d'itinéraire / road trip, pour découvrir l'Indonésie en 3 semaines !

Notre voyage personnalisé :

Durée : 3 semaines à 2

Coût total : 1500€ / personne tout compris

Date : fin Avril => mi Mai 2019 - (la meilleure période va de mi-avril à fin septembre. A partir de mi-avril, c'est le début de la saison sèche. Par contre de mi-juin à mi-septembre, les prix flambent, et il y a du tourisme de masse : tous les indonésiens, australiens, chinois, ... notamment profitent de ces lieux fabuleux pour leurs vacances. Sur nos dates, on n'a pas eu de pluie en journée.

Visa : Pas de visa nécessaire pour les ressortissants Français. 

Change / Monnaie : La monnaie c'est l'IDR (Indonesian Roupie). 1 000 000 IDR = 63€ environ ; pas facile pour le calcul mental !

Nous avons effectué tous les retraits aux ATM (distributeurs de billets) des aéroports et villes. Notre banque prélève 1,9% de commission sur tous les paiements / prélèvements ; c'était plus avantageux que de faire du change avant de partir ou de changer des Euros sur place. Toutes les banques n'ont pas la même politique de "commission" à l'étranger ; renseignez-vous avant de partir !

Remarque : les ATM peuvent délivrer à chaque retrait au maximum 1 000 000 à 2 500 000IDR (selon le lieu) ; il faudra faire la manipulation plusieurs fois.

Vols : réservés début mars pour un départ le 20 avril ; 3 semaines avant le départ, il y avait encore des vols moins chers proposés avec d'autres compangies (comme Swiss air ou Lufthansa) ; N'hésitez pas à comparer les tarifs à +/-3j pour voir les écarts, par exemple sur kayak.fr, puis d'affiner lorsque les dates sont figées sur skyscanner.fr (site ne prenant aucune comission).

Départ : Bordeaux - Singapour : 450 A/R avec Air France / KLM ; on pouvait avoir le billet à 400€ avec Swiss Air, Lufthansa ou Singapore airlines, mais les escales étaient plus  longues.

Pourquoi Singapour pour aller en Indonésie ? Les vols vers Singapour sont peu onéreux ! Et au départ de Singapour, de nombreuses compagnies low cost existent pour aller dans toute l'asie du Sud-Est ! Et puis Singapour est sympa pour une nuit ou une longue escale ! Si vous prenez un vol direct pour Denpasar (Bali), le billet vous coûtera plus de 700€.

J1 : Départ de France

J2 : Arrivée à Singapour en milieu d'après midi - nuit à Singapour, et découverte de Garden by the Bay le soir

J3 : Vol Singapour - Yogyakarta, puis bus pour gagner Borobudur - balade à pied dans les rizières - nuit en Guesthouse

J4 : Lever de soleil sur le temple Borobudur dès 4h du matin, puis transfert sur Yogyakarta dans l'apres midi et découverte de la ville

J5 : Train Yogyakarta => Probolinggo : 9h de train pour se rapprocher du Bromo. (Train de 7h00 à 16h10). Puis prise d'un van partagé pour gagner le village de Cemoro Lawang. Nuit en Guesthouse

J6 : Lever de soleil sur le Bromo, avec un départ à 3h du matin, puis  transfert sur Probolinggo en fin de matinée pour prendre un bus vers Banyuwangi (pour faire le Ijen). On peut aussi faire le trajet en train. 4h de bus ou de train.

J7 : Départ à minuit direction le Ijen ; rando jusqu'à 9h du matin pour profiter des flammes bleus, lac acide, lever soleil, etc.... Puis ferry pour relier Bali, puis trajet en bus jusqu'à Ubud

J8 : location de scooter à la journée sur Ubud pour visiter le coin : rizières, temples, etc....

J9 ; transfert en bus pour Nusa Lembogan, et plage l'aprem

J10 : sortie en bateau / snorkeling à Lembogan

J11 : transfert sur Kuta pour découvrir ce coin paradisiaque pour les surfers soit disant.

J12 : Vol Bali => Maumere (ile de Flores), puis prise d'une voiture partagée jusqu'à Moni (3h de route), pour faire le Kelimutu. Nuit chez l'habitant, et rando dans les villages  et cascades en fin de journée

J13 : Lever à 3h pour faire le Kelimutu : 1h de route, puis 30' à pied , puis redescente à pied lors d'une randonnée de 2h dans les villages et cultures, jusqu'à Moni. Transfert en voiture partagée jusqu'à Bajawa.

J14 : Location d'un scooter à la journée sur Bajawa, pour découvrir les villages traditionnels, les sources d'eau chaude et autres points de vue.

J15 : vol Bajawa - Labuan Bajo : puis l'après midi à la recherche d'une agence pour partir 3J/2N faire du snorkeling.

J16, J17, J18 : 3J, 2n en bateau à profiter des iles, plages, rando, et snorkeling merveilleux (nage avec les tortues, raies manta, coraux et poissons colorés, observation des flying foxes,...)

J19 : vol Labuan Bajo - Bali : puis transfert à Semyniak

J20 : Prise d'une voiture avec chauffeur pour découvrir les temples de Tanah Lot, les rizières de Jatiluwih, et autres sites.

J21 : vol retour vers la France.

> Vol international Bordeaux => singapour A/R: 450€ par AF/KLM. Il y avait moins cher, 400€ avec Swiss air / Lufthansa

Si vous êtes flexibles, faites des comparatifs de prix sur +/-3j, via le site kayak.fr par exemple, puis affinez sur skyscanner lorsque vos dates sont figées.

> Vol Singapour - Yogyakarta : 85€ avec bagage en soute, avec Air asia

> Voiture de l'aéroport de Yogyakarta à Borobudur : 300 000IDR (environ 20€) pour 2h de route

> Lever du soleil au temple de Borobudur (ticket d'entrée) : environ 30€ par personne, incluant le petit déj.

>  Voiture Borobudur => Yogyakarta : 7€ environ, réservée avec l'application "Grab"

> Train Yogyakarta => Probolinggo (pour le bromo) : 88 000IDR / personne = 6€ environ, en classe économique, pour 9h de trajet.

> Van partagé Probolinggo => Cemoro Lawang, incluant les taxes du park, la matinée en jeep pour le lever du soleil, et le retour à la gare : 1 000 000 IDR (60€ environ) pour 2.

> Train Probolinggo =>  Banyuwangi : 200 000IDR / personne (13€ environ) en business. Sinon, 75 000IDR en bus local, ou 150 000IDR en van partagé.

> Voiture privée pour faire le Kawa Ijen, incluant A/R depuis Banyuwangi, les taxes d'entrée au park, masque à gaz,... 950 000IDR à 2 (55€ environ). Possibilité de le faire en voitures partagées (organisation sur place), au cout de 300 000IDR / personne (20€ / personne environ).

> Bus Terminal ferry Banyuwangi => gare routière Denpasar : 150 000IDR / personne (environ 10€) pour le bus rapide. 75 000IDR (5€) pour le bus local qui mettra 3 fois plus de temps.

La sortie 2J/1N en bateau partagé : 1 400 000IDR : 100€ / personne ; vous serez  au moins 20 personnes sur le bateau. La sortie 3J/2N en bateau partagé : 2 000 000 IDR / personne (135€).

> Entrées park Komodo & Padar Island : compter 440 000IDR = 28€ par personne (à rajouter au prix de l'excursion en bateau).

> Repas : compter 3€ / personne et par repas de budget, si vous manger la nourriture locale (Nasi Goreng, Mie Goreng,...)

> Hébergement : compter entre 10 et 20€ la chambre pour 2, pour quelque chose de propre et simple ave petit déj et wifi.

On se sent en sécurité de partout sur cet itinéraire.

La population est incroyablement accueillante sur Java, Flores et Bali

Hébergements : il y a le wifi dans toutes les guesthouses quasiment. On a réservé la veille pour le lendemain via booking.com dans la plupart des cas.

Nourriture : on a mangé dans des petits resto à 1,5€ (20 000IDR) par personne sans avoir de problème de santé. On mange en général pour 3€ / personne, et si on veut faire un gastronomique, compter 20€ par personne.

Eau : eau du robinet non potable : des bouteilles sont en vente de partout ; aucun souci pour s'approvisionner

Moustiques : Très peu de moustiques sur tout l'itinéraire ; l'anti moustique "cinq sur cinq" n'a pas été nécessaire.

Bateau depuis Labuan Bajo pour faire du snorkeling : réserver la veille pour le lendemain sur place, en démarchant toutes les "agences" situées dans la même rue, et négocier les tarifs Elles sont ouvertes tard dans la nuit pour remplir les bateaux. Privilégier une sortie 3J/2N ou au moins 2J/1N pour avoir le temps de profiter des paysages, plages, et spots de snorkeling. Demander au moment de la réservation combien il y aura de passagers maximum : si vous passez 2J/1N avec 20 personnes à dormir sur le pont, le voyage devient vite galère. Vous pouvez demander à avoir un bateau privé pour un petit peu plus.

Ile de Komodo : L'excursion est vraiment faite pour les touristes ; rien d'authentique, les varans sont à moitiés endormis pour que les touristes puissent les voir; les 3 rando proposées ne présentent aucun intérêt ; le ranger imposé pour la sécurité est loin de ce que vous pouvez imaginer derrière ce terme de "ranger". Très peu de varans visibles sur Komodo ; privilégier l'île de Rinca, où il y a davantage de varans sur l'ile, plus sauvage, plus authentique.

Borobudur : Si vous y allez, faites le lever de soleil, c'est le petit moment magique ; l'entrée est plus chère, il y a beaucoup de touristes (y arriver pour 4h30 maximum pour être bien placés), vous aurez droit en plus à un super petit déjeuner de type buffet après le lever du soleil. Et surtout vous éviterez la horde de touristes locaux qui arrive vers 6h du matin.

Bromo : Lorsque qu'on y était, l'accès au cratère du Bromo était fermé ; l'excursion en jeep ne vaut donc pas la peine ; préférer aller à pied, jusqu'au belvédère de King Kong Hill ; A savoir qu'à partir de 11h, en général il pleut ; donc faire le lever du soleil . Assez déçu par cette expérience finalement alors que je m'en faisais un paysage grandiose.

Kawah Ijen : Expérience remarquable : on avait réservé à l'avance via l'agence "blueflametours.com" une voiture privée. Mais on peut réserver 1 ou 2j avant via votre guesthouse à Banyuwangi pour profiter d'une voiture partagée et payer moins cher. Nous n'avions pas pris de guide. L'itinéraire est simple : 1 seul chemin ; la descente dans le cratère est un peu plus technique, mais si vous avez l'habitude de marcher en montagne, aucun souci ; de plus vous serez au milieu de nombreux autres touristes accompagnés. Le masque à gaz est très utile si vous voulez profiter des lieux (fourni par les agences en général).

Ubud : on a trouvé Ubud trop touristique, trop bruyante pour y rester plus de 2j. Louez un scooter pour vous évader de la ville et vous perdre dans les rizières. Pour s'offrir un moment de calme, aller manger à "Sweet Orange", dans le centre ville, au milieu des rizières, prix très abordables en plus.

Nusa Lembogan : une ile au calme pour sortir du vacarme de Bali et de ses embouteillages et touristes. Retour au calme, louer un scooter pour découvrir les 2 iles.

Flores : circulation : Florès est très montagneuse, les routes sinueuses ; on roule à 30km/h en moyenne. Si vous prenez le bus avec les locaux : compter 5h pour faire 60km, les locaux fument à bord, beaucoup sont malades, une vraie expérience inconfortable. Privilégier les voitures partagées : attendre sur le bord de la route, et les voitures s'arrêtent pour les remplir.

Moni => Ende : 1h30

Ende => Bajawa : 4h

Bajawa => Labuan Bajo : 10h (remarque : on peut faire ce trajet en avion en 30', depuis l'aéroport de Bajawa, pour 40€ / personne avec bagage en soute)

Réserver un billet de train ou d'avion en Indonésie : Réserver sur le site local, tiket.com, il y a une interface en anglais, et les prix sont bien sans taxe supplémentaire.

Parking aéroport : Il existe maintenant de nombreux parking low-cost dans la plupart des villes de provinces, à proximité des aéroports, comme Park and Trip, ou une offre visible au travers du comparateur de prix de parking Onepark. De quoi faire de jolies économies !

Si vous avez l'habitude de voyager en mode routard, aucun souci pour se débrouiller sur place ; tout le monde parle anglais, et parfois le français aussi.

We can personalize products, but also life moments and travels !! Take the example Indonesia, an incredible destination, th land of thousands islands, a trendy destination ... There are several ways to discover the country, through traditional and conventional agencies ; In these cases you do not need to spend time looking for information, everything will be organized, but on the other hand, you will be with a group of unknown people, and you will have to follow and respect the program defined as an agreement. This leaves poor way for improvisation or customization of your journey.

There are also agencies specialized in tailor-made or personalized travel, such as in France, Evaneos, MarcoVasco, etc .... Here, it's the same : everything will be organized in advance, but according to your desires and wishes, it is trully perfect if you want to travel between you... if this goes on budget side of course !

Finally, you have the option of traveling in a backpacker mode: there you have to spend time finding information by yourselfes, defining the content of your trip, it is exciting but time consuming. But at the end, a customized and unique trip, designed by and for you! And it's also suitable for small budgets :)!

Without being exhaustive, here are some good plans and a suggested itinerary (tested by ourselves) to get an idea.

Duration: 3 weeks, 2 people

Total cost: 1500 € / person all inclusive

Date: end of April => mid May 2019 - (the best period is from mid-April to the end of September) From mid-April, it is the beginning of the dry season, but from mid-June to mid-September prices are much more expensive, and there is mass tourism: all Indonesians, Australians, Chinese, ... especially enjoy these fabulous places for their holidays. On our dates, we did not have rain during the day, and it was already crowded in Bali, mainly Ubud city.

Visa: No visa required for French people.

Currency : The currency is the IDR (Indonesian Rupee). IDR 1,000,000 = approximately € 63; not easy for mental calculation!

We made all withdrawals at ATMs at airports and cities. Our bank takes 1.9% commission on all payments / withdrawals; it was better than making money before leaving or changing Euros on the spot. Not all banks have the same "commission" policy abroad; ask their policy before leaving!

Note: ATMs can issue a maximum of 1,000,000  to 2,500,000 IDR per withdrawal (depending on location); it will be necessary to do the manipulation several times.

Flights: booked early March for departure April 20th; 3 weeks before departure, there were still cheaper flights offered with other companies (like Swiss Air or Lufthansa); Feel free to compare rates to +/- 3 days to see the differences, for example on kayak.fr, and then refine when the dates are fixed on skyscanner.fr (site not taking any comission).

Departure: Bordeaux - Singapore: 450€ return with Air France / KLM; we could get the 400 € ticket with Swiss Air, Lufthansa or Singapore airlines, but the stops were longer.

Why Singapore to go to Indonesia? Flights to Singapore are pretty cheap! And from Singapore, many low cost companies exist to go all over Southeast Asia! And Singapore is nice for a night or a long stopover! If you take a direct flight to Denpasar (Bali), the ticket will cost you more than 700 €.

D1: Departure from France

D2: Arrival in Singapore mid-afternoon - night in Singapore, and discovery of Garden by the Bay in the evening

D3: Flight Singapore - Yogyakarta, then bus until Borobudur - walk in the rice fields - overnight in Guesthouse

D4: Sunrise on the Borobudur temple from 4am, then transfer to Yogyakarta in the afternoon and discover the city

D5: Yogyakarta train => Probolinggo: 9h train to get closer to Bromo. (Train from 7:00 to 16:10). Then take a shared bus  to reach the village of Cemoro Lawang. Night in Guesthouse

D6: Sunrise on the Bromo, with a departure at 3am, then transfer to Probolinggo in the late morning to take a bus to Banyuwangi (to make the Ijen). You can also travel by train. 4h bus or train.

D7: Departure at midnight towards Ijen; hike until 9am to enjoy the blue flames, acid lake, sunrise, etc .... Then ferry to connect Bali, then bus ride to Ubud

D8: Scooter rental in the day on Ubud to visit the area: rice fields, temples, etc.

D9: bus transfer to Nusa Lembogan, and beachthe afternoon

D10: boat / snorkeling trip to Lembogan

D11: transfer to Kuta to discover this paradise for surfers so called.

D12: Flight Bali => Maumere (Flores Island), then take a shared car to Moni (3h drive) to Kelimutu. Night homestay, and hike in the villages and waterfalls at the end of the day

D13: Rise at 3h to Kelimutu: 1 hour drive, then 30 'walk for sunrise, then descend for & 2h hike crossing  villages and cultures, to Moni. Transfer by shared car to Bajawa.

D14: Rent a scooter for the day on Bajawa, to discover traditional villages, hot springs and other points of view.

D15: Flight Bajawa - Labuan Bajo: then the afternoon looking for an agency to leave 3D / 2N to snorkel.

D16, D17, D18: 3D, 2N boat to enjoy the islands, beaches, hiking, and wonderful snorkeling (swimming with turtles, manta rays, corals and colorful fish, flying foxes observation, ...)

D19: flight Labuan Bajo - Bali: transfer to Semyniak

D20: Taking a car with driver to discover the temples of Tanah Lot, rice fields of Jatiluwih, and other sites.

D21: return flight to France.

If you are flexible, make price comparisons on +/- 3d, via the kayak.fr website for example, then refine on skyscanner when your dates are frozen.

We feel safe everywhere on this route.

The population is incredibly welcoming on Java, Flores and Bali.

Accommodation: there is wifi in almost all guesthouses . We booked the day before for the next day via booking.com in most cases.

Food: We ate in a small restaurants at 1.5 € (20 000 IDR) per person without having health problems. We usually eat for € 3 / person, and if you want to make a gourmet, count € 20 per person.

Water: non-potable tap water: bottles are on sale everywhere

Mosquitoes: Very few mosquitoes on the whole route; anti mosquito spray was not necessary.

Boat from Labuan Bajo to snorkel: book the day before for the next day in the city, by demarcating all "agencies" located in the same street, and negotiate the rates They are open late at night to fill the boats. Privilege a 3D / 2N or at least 2D / 1N to have time to enjoy the landscapes, beaches, and spots of snorkeling. Ask when booking how many passengers there will be: if you spend 2J / 1N with 20 people sleeping on the deck, the trip will quickly become a hassle.
